Job Description

Job Summary: As a Receptionist at Gay Buick GMC in Dickinson, Texas, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors. You will provide excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership. This is a full-time, hourly administrative position in the auto industry with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Answer and direct phone calls, and take and relay messages accurately
• Provide information to customers about our products and services, and address any inquiries or concerns
• Schedule and confirm appointments for customers with sales, service, and parts departments
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
• Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
• Contribute to the overall team effort by completing additional duties and projects as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
