Project Manager - Emissions Testing
Job Description
The successful candidate will collaborate with a talented team to continue serving clients and drive new growth in the surrounding area. This role requires leading, managing, and mentoring test teams in the field, performing and overseeing emission tests across Southern California and beyond, and preparing proposals, test protocols, and test reports. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing project financials, including invoicing, change order management, and ensuring proper financial documentation for project openings and closures. Retaining current clients and expanding the customer base to grow net service revenue year over year is also a key aspect of the role.
Responsibilities
+ Lead, manage, and mentor test teams in the field.
+ Perform and manage emission tests in Southern California and beyond.
+ Prepare proposals, test protocols, and test reports.
+ Manage project financials, including invoicing, change order management, and proper financial documentation.
+ Retain current clients and help to build additional customer base to grow net service revenue year over year.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum two years of stationary source emission testing experience and familiarity with EPA test methods.
+ Current SES Qualified Individual certification in exam Groups I and III.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
+ Ability to obtain DOT certification.
+ Strong experience in SCAQMD methodology and familiarity with SCAQMD rules.
+ Demonstrated experience managing $500,000+ in annual client revenue.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness and ability to travel 50-75%.
+ Must pass an initial drug screen and ongoing periodic random drug checks.
+ Existing DOT certification.
+ Current SES Qualified Individual certification in exam Groups I, II, III, and IV.
+ Demonstrated experience preparing price proposals, test protocols, and test reports.
+ Demonstrated experience leading and managing emission tests in accordance with safety and quality standards.
+ Demonstrated experience with manual methods sampling and continuous sampling for compliance and other purposes.
Work Environment
The role requires working in the field Monday through Thursday, with Fridays spent at home or the office. The work environment involves being outdoors in various weather conditions and handling equipment weighing up to 40 lb. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
