Pay: $130.00 - $138.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. This role offers a balanced mix of hospital and clinic work, with strong OB/GYN support and comprehensive onsite resources.

Schedule:

• Hospital: Monday–Friday, varied shifts.
• Clinic/Office: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Clinic days: 3 days per CNM.
• Call Schedule: 1 in 3 rotation.
• 24-hour in-house coverage: No.

Weekend Requirements: None Response Time: 20 minutes

Practice & Caseload:

• Specialty: OB/GYN
• Patient Mix:
• Low-risk pregnancy – 50%
• High-risk pregnancy – 50%
• C-section involvement – 20%
• Office GYN – 35%
• Volume:
• 10–12 clinic patients/day per CNM
• 6 deliveries/week per CNM
• Group: 3 OB/GYNs, 3 CNMs, virtual MFM support
• OB/GYNs present during coverage: Yes (2nd call support)

Worksite Resources:

• Hospital Beds: 39 (ICU: 4)
• Trauma Level: III
• Nursery: Level II (with higher-level NICU transfer available)
• Onsite Services:
• Lab & Ultrasound (performed by Techs)
• 13 exam rooms
• RN support in clinic
• Epic EMR (hospital & clinic)

Procedures RequiredObstetrics:

• Management of both low- and high-risk pregnancies.
• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE).
• OB ultrasounds (Level I screening/viability).
• Routine & complicated deliveries (including C-section decision-making, breech, multiples, abruptions).
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.

Gynecology:

• Office/minor procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

Travel & Logistics:

• Flights
• Lodging
• Car Rental: Economy cap, reimbursed with receipt
• Mileage: IRS standard rate

Requirements:

• Board Certification – Required
• Colorado License (or Compact License) – Required
• Availability for full-time coverage – Required
• (Minimum: 3 weeks per month – no exceptions)
