Job Description

MUST-HAVE: Bilingual is English and Spanish is REQUIRED. + Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner + Answer and route incoming calls; respond to inquiries and take messages as needed + Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using the electronic health record (EHR) system + Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or sliding scale payments + Assist with patient registration, intake forms, and updating demographic information + Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Lifelong's privacy policies + Coordinate with medical assistants, providers, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow + Support outreach and follow-up efforts for missed appointments or preventive care + Maintain a clean and organized reception area Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required + Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or community health setting preferred + Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) must have + Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., NextGen, Epic) a plus + Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills + Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
